There are many approaches to printing on fabric with natural dyes. This course will take you through three different approaches and the pros and cons of each technique. Printing on fabric with dye pastes will give you many colour possibilities. Printing on dyed fabric with modifiers gives rich and vibrant colours for the background as well as the printed design. Printing with mordants will give you very lightfast results.
